国内外32アーティストが参加した、D.I.Y. シルクスクリーン ポスター エキシビジョン ＆ ワークショップ  プロジェクト「MESS/AGE」。

MESS(混乱)な、AGE(時代)へ、MESS/AGE(メッセージ)を発信するという思いのもとに、様々なアーティストによって製作されたアートワークを、

シルクスクリーンを用いて、即興的にリミックス、リエディットした、総数５０以上のアートワーク プリントと、使用したシルクスクリーン版の展示。

今回は初の東京エディションとして、毎回違ったアートワークを展示した過去３回の展示の中から、セレクションしたものになります。

会場では３日間、毎日ワークショップを開催、更に伝搬、増殖するMESS/AGE！！

さらに毎日、ゆかりのあるアーティスト達による、DJ、ライブ、ライブぺインティングやってます。

●MESS/AGE

D.I.Y. silkscreen poster exhibition & workshop project "MESS/AGE" gathered the artworks of 32 artists from Japan and abroad under the wish of sending a message for these Mess Age in which we are living.

The project started 2 years ago during  the pandemic times, and it have already produced 3 different Poster Exhibitions & Workshops  that took place in the city of Sakata, Yamagata district.

We are happy to introduce to you in Tokyo for the first time, a selection of artworks from the previous editions! 

During 3 days we will host the silkscreen poster exhibition and public workshops at Kouenj Amp Cafe. 

Every day the background of the exhibition will be covered by live Dj’s.

As well these time it will be a fusion of collaborations with local artists, as some of them will bring their own stuff like small surprise stand!

●Workshop

The work shop is interactive as we challenge the attendants to make the prints by themselves, under the  guide of our staff.

You can choose any version on display and mix of colors, then print it on the T-shirt, paper, hoodie you bring with you, 

Although we have a few plain T-shirts, we recommend that you bring your own as sizes are limited.

Free admission (1 drink order

Workshop 1 print, 1000 yen

Silkscreen posters sold on a poster stand & some merchandise as hoodies and t’shirts with prices ranging between 1000-3000 yen.

D.I.Y. シルクスクリーン ポスター エキシビジョン ＆ ワークショップ  プロジェクト「MESS/AGE」にて、MESS(混乱)な、AGE(時代)への、MESS/AGE(メッセージ）を発信するという思いのもとに集まった国内外25アーティストによるアートワーク。そのアートワークをアーティスト コレクティブ Refugees On dance Floorが、シルクスクリーンにて、即興的にリミックス、リエディットし、MESS/AGE展にて展示されたプリント集。ZINに収録されている作品の全てのプリントは、シルクスクリーンプリントにて製作、その後撮影。使用した全ての版も基本的にハンドメイドにて製作。

寂れた小さな田舎町で突如開催されたMESS/AGE。

アーティストから託された個のものであったMESSAGEは、訪れたその人自身の手によってコピーされ無数の解を産んでいく。

目の前で広がっていくそれぞれの想像力とリアルの中の人の手の感覚の先で、夜を重ねるごとにMESS/AGEは一つの街のように人格を持ち成長していきました。

DIYの可能性、人と重なる先の可能性。

このZINEは混沌の先に映された希望の記録です。

山形県鶴岡市で木工などを生業としているBORZOIと申します。この度はMESS/AGEのZINE発売おめでとうございます。拝見させていただきましたところ、感動のあまり木彫刻像を23体つくって、お焚き上げしましたよ、木工屋だけにね。アハハハハハハ。

そんだけスゴイ内容となっております。世界各地のアーティスト様によるデザインをスクリーンプリントアートした作品集、ぜひご覧あれ。

MESS/AGE ZINE

D.I.Y. silkscreen poster exhibition & workshop project "MESS/AGE" gathered the artworks of 25 artists from Japan and abroad under the wish of sending a message for these Mess Age in which we are living.

These ZINE is a tribute to the first 2 editions of these project, a collection of improvised remixes and re-edits made by the artists collective Refugees On Dance Floor. All prints of the works recorded in the ZINE are produced by silk screen printing and then photographed. All the frames used are basically handmade and produced by D.I.Y.

As a soundtrack or homage, it comes with a MIX CD by DJ COSMiC DiSASTER, a pseudonymous project of destrooy a.k.a. dubdub, recorded live exclusively by VINYLS. MIX teaser ;) https://on.soundcloud.com/uRdJG

MESS/AGE, was suddenly held in a small, lonely country town.

The individual MESSAGE entrusted to us by the artists was copied by the hands of the visitors themselves, giving birth to countless solutions.

MESS/AGE grew with each passing night, taking on the personality of a community by the sight which is spreading out in front of the people thru each one’s imagination & the possibility of touching it .

The possibility of DIY, the possibility of future by overlapping with people.

This ZINE is a record of hope projected beyond the chaos.

My name is BORZOI and I am a woodworker in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. 

I would like to congratulate you on the release of your MESS/AGE zine. I was so moved when I saw it that I made 23 wooden carved statues and burned them, just because I am a woodworker. Hahahahahahaha.

That's how amazing the contents are.
