写真家Lorelai Gumeniの、サウンドプロジェクトJoker。
Lorelai Gumeniは、写真と音の実験を通じて絶え間ない探求の旅を続けています。
ルーマニアの黒海沿岸の歴史的な都市コンスタンツァで生まれた彼女は、スクワットやヨーロッパのアンダーグラウンドシーン、フリーパーティー、テクニバル、そして色々な国の遠い場所まで、多様な環境に飛び込み、最も純粋、又はその反対な各文化に固有の存在形態を探しすことを続ける。
サウンドプロジェクトJokerとして、独自の素材と自作の楽器を使って即興のアコースティック・パフォーマンスを行う。
写真家として、彼女は人々が見過ごしがちな細部にフォーカスし、それらを強調する事で、そこに共存する別の現実を見せる作品を作り続けている。

A new album has been released by Joker & dj CoSmiC DisaSteR!!It is currently available at Los Apson? (Tokyo), Hitozoku records (Kyoto), and Tobira records (Hyogo)!
This new album is a collection of tracks spun from sound collage sessions featuring the raw sounds of Joker, a player of homemade and modified instruments (cymbals, bells, drums), and the electronic sounds and effects of traveling music dj CoSmiC DisaSteR (effector, moduler, mixing).
The band selected experimental recordings themselves, all recorded in different places, times, and under different circumstances, and then mixed them down by dj CoSmiC DisaSteR.

As Joker, Lorelai Gumeni embarks on a journey of constant exploration through photography and experimental music. Born in the historic city of Constanța on the Black Sea coast of Romania, she delves into diverse environments, from squats and the European underground scene to free parties, teknivals, and remote areas of various countries, seeking for the purest and most contrasting forms of existence, unique to each culture.
Joker's work as an improvisational acoustic performer involves using unique materials and self build instruments to create her soundscapes. As a photographer, she focuses on capturing details that are often overlooked, highlighting them to present an alternative reality.
